Do you know which is the world's largest cruise ship?

The ocean liner Queen Mary II is six metres longer but 15m narrower than the Freedom of the Seas, which will be based in Miami, Florida.  The Queen Mary II remains the largest ocean liner as compared to the Freedom of the Seas which is the largest cruise ship.

Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas Cruise Ship

The Freedom of the Seas is the largest cruise ship.   She is called an Ultra-Voyager because she is an extension of the Royal Caribbean International (RCI) Voyager of the Seas class.  The ship's extra length and size has enabled RCI to include lots of exciting options never seen on a cruise ship before such as a surfing pool, cantilevered whirlpools that extend 12 feet beyond the sides of the ship, and waterpark,  rock-climbing wall, with eleven routes and a central spire you can swing around.

Passenger Capacity: 3,634.

Cunard's The Queen Mary 2  -

On 10 January 2007, the QM2 will start her first world cruise, circling the globe in 81 days.  She has been in service since 2004.

The ship QM2 is more than twice as long as the Washington Monument is tall (550 ft.). It features a planetarium, 22 elevators and the largest floating library.

The QM2 accommodates 2,600 passengers.

The QM2 is 377 yards long and 79 yards high or about the height of a 21-story building. It  weighs more than twice the QE2's 70,000 tons.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s Voyager-class ships, about 138,000 tons, are currently the largest cruise ships in service.

Passengers can enjoy six restaurants, 14 bars and clubs, a library, theater, pools,  disco, and casino.

The 1,310 cabins include duplexes with private gymnasiums and penthouses with butler service.
