Reverse Osmosis

There are small RO systems that require no power other than water flow. For boondocking, it is possible and easy to collect the fresh waste water and put it back into the holding tank for re-use. Here is a link to a product I have been reading about but have not tried yet.
Nimbus Reverse Osmosis Filter
If anyone has/is using this I would like to know if you are satisfied with it. Of course this would be for drinking water and ice cubes only. Not a full house system.

Boondocking? How to fill fresh water tank:

In any given year we dry camp 2 to 3 weeks at a time. We do this 5 to 10 times a year. Have been doing it for many years. We use two-3 gallon Rubbermaid water jugs with pour spout. Either my wife or I can carry both at the same time. We fill water  6 gallons now, 2 trips a little later or tomorrow. We never run out. We stay on top of it because it is easy to carry a couple of jugs with no strain.

How to fill a water tank without a faucet?

You should be able to fill your water tank using your water pump. If it doesn't already have Pump Fill valve you can install one. You would then put the end of a flexible hose into the container with the water and pump it into the holding tank. This method is used on the Holiday Rambler Presidential.

Water heater won't light

Have you turned the water heater switch ON? May sound silly but some times we miss the obvious. Check their website for more info about wiring, troubleshooting etc,
